Guideline for Abstract Submission
- Abstract must be written in English and should be a maximum of 350 words (3-5 keywords).
- Abstract should be in Microsoft Word document format and prepared in the available template.
- Abstracts should consist of a title of paper, the name of the author/authors and their affiliation, contact details and one paragraph only for script. Underline the name of the presenting author.
- The abstract must be single paragraph, single line spacing, typed in Time New Roman 12 points (bold for title) with a margin of 3 cm of A4 paper.
- Abstract template can be downloaded from the conference website.
- All abstracts should be submitted as attachments, in MS Word format by online submission via the conference website at http://www.icaai2014.com.
Guideline for Full Paper Submission
1. Manuscript Submission
1.1 Online Submission
Full papers (meaning all submission items, including all text, tables, artwork, and any other required documents/material) must be submitted online to the conference website at http://www.icaai2014.com.
1.2 Important Information
- Articles should be in Microsoft Word document format and prepared in the available template.
- Articles should be written in English, using American English spelling, and meet the following basic criteria: the material is original, the information is important, the writing is clear and concise, the study methods are appropriate, the data are valid, and the conclusions are reasonable and supported by the data.
- Text should be typed double-spaced on white A4 (297x210 mm) paper, with outer margins of 2.5 cm.
- The manuscript should include a title page, abstract, keywords, text, acknowledgments (if any), references, and figures and tables as appropriate.
- Pages should be numbered consecutively, beginning with the title page.
- Put text, references, table headings and tables, and figure legends in one file. Each table heading and table (double spaced) should begin on a new page. Figure legends (double spaced) should also be on a new page.
2. Manuscript Preparation
Research papers should be divided into the following sections:
2.1 The title page
The title page should contain the article title, names of authors, affiliation, address, city, postcode, country and the name of *corresponding author.
2.2 Abstracts and Keywords
An unstructured abstract (i.e., in one single paragraph with no subheadings), of no more than 350 words in length, and 3–5 relevant keywords (in alphabetical order) are required.
2.3 Introduction
Introduction should give the aim of the investigation and a brief statement of previous relevant work with references.
2.4 Materials and Methods
Materials and Methods should have only new techniques need to be described in detail but known methods must have adequate references.
2.5 Results and Discussion
Results and Discussion must be presented with tables and figures for clarity. Tables, Graphs, Figures and Photographs should be displayed on separate pages in the full paper after the reference section. Tables and figures should be captioned. Scanned or digital photographs should be in high resolution. Keep the numbers of Figures and Tables used in the article to the minimum (maximum allowed is a total of 5 Figures and Tables together).
2.6 Conclusions
Conclusions usually interpret the results and the conclusions should not merely repeat points made in the preceding sections.
2.7 Acknowledgement – should be kept to the absolute minimum.
2.8 References
Authors are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of their references and for correct in-text citation. References should be cited in the text by the author. All references in the text must be listed at the end of the paper, with the names of authors arranged alphabetically, and titles of papers given. No underlining, italics or bold face should be used. References in incorrect format will be returned for correction.

3. Reviewing process and Communication
Full paper submitted will be reviewed by reviewers assigned by the academic committee of ICAAI2014 conference and final decision will be informed by email. Reviewers' suggestions and comments will be then made available via email attached file.

Full paper submitted to ICAAI2014 conference must deal with original and unpublished work, not submitted for publication elsewhere (copyright problems fall entirely under responsibility of the authors). ICAAI2014 conference has paper submission in journals as follows.

2. Journal of Food and Agricultural Technology
Journal of Food and Agricultural Technology (JFAT) is a research journal planned to publish three issues a year. The journal will consider submissions from all over the world, on original basic and applied researches not being published as research paper and review article. The papers will be published in English. The subject covered by JFAT includes, but not limited to; all aspects of food, agricultural science and technology in the following areas:

JFAT is an Open Access, peer-reviewed online scientific journal published by School of Agro-Industry, Mae Fah Luang University, MFU. The first issue will be published by January 2015.
Instructions for the presenters
Oral presentation
- Presenters are required to submit their powerpoint presentation to the staff at the registration desk at least 3 hours before their presentation.
- Each oral presentation is allocated for 20 minutes on their presentation; 15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A.
- Presenters are required to stand by in presentation room at least 30 minutes before their presentation time.
- Presentations are arranged in sequence. No show presenter will be withdrawn for their presentation.
Poster presentation
- Poster presentations will be located at the poster presentation room (to be announced), on November 19.
- The poster size should be 80 ´100 cm.
- Poster shall be displayed from 9:00 am on November 20 to 12:00 pm on November 21.
- The authors are requested to be present their posters during the official poster session hour.
- Presenters are responsible to remove their posters from 12.00 to 13.30 on November 21.
- Posters which are not removed by the indicated time above will be discarded at the end of the conference
