Chiang Rai, a small province with a population about 1.3 million, has a mountainous landscape bordering with Myanmar, Laos, and the south of China. Wat Rong Sear Tean is located in downtown and far from kok river bridge about 300m using mae yao Rd. It is open daily from 7.00 am to 8.00 pm.

Shing Fong Tea Plantation, Doi Mae Salong has many tea farms that can be visited on the same route as the ChuiFong Tea farm. It is in front of the entrance to hill tribe village which has famous extensive tea plantations with an international farm management system with over forty years of experience. Beside the nature, Chuifong Tea Farm also has a cafe serving drinks and bakery. On Doi Mae Salong, there is another tea plantation that is interesting which is Wang Pud Tan, an older tea houses have been around for more than thirty years, focusing on tea production rather than tourism. Visitors will see tea plantations that cover the valley and taste the tea grown by the farm. It is reputed to have a unique aroma. Chuifong Tea Farm is about 60 km far from Chiang Rai downtown. Take the Mae Chan - Tha Ton route passing through Mae Chan district, Pa Tung hot spring, and Baan Huy Hin Fon. Clock Tower, The clock tower of Chiang Rai is designed by Dr.Chaloemchai Kositpipat. It was built to commemorate Queen Sirikit of Thailand in the reign of King Rama IX. The color of the tower is gold and there are beautiful stucco work.
