Research assistants and Ph.D. students of CEFR visited Rai Ruen Rom organic farm at Thoeng

On 11 June 2019, researchers, research assistants and Ph.D. students of CEFR visited Rai Ruen Rom organic farm at Thoeng, Chiang Rai. The reason for the visit was to collect specimens of plants with fungal diseases in order to study the taxonomy and phylogeny of plant pathogenic fungi. Furthermore, insect pests were gathered also to develop biological control of these pests.

A discussion was made between our tireless researchers and hardworking farmers about management control of fungal diseases and it made this collection more meaningful!

Thanks Rai Ruen Rom organic farm for allowing us to visit your farm! We will have further collaborations soon and we are all excited to share our findings in the near future! Check this link to know more about this amazing and beautiful organic farm: https://www.facebook.com/rairuenrom/
